Preschool Graduation

This year Madi went to preschool at Dots and Doodles at the elementary and loved it!
She loved her teacher Miss Hali.

Congrats Girl!

We love you!

Mother's Day!

This year for Mother's Day we kidnapped my mom, dragged her to a hair salon... and gave her the treatment she has earned a long time ago. She works so hard serving other people ALL the time, she never takes time for herself. SO, we decided that's what she needed the most. After 3 or so hours in the salon eating frozen grapes, facials, etc. all the girls met up for lunch to show off the new hair style.......

...... TA DA....Isn't she beautiful! We ate at Zappa's and enjoyed a little girl time. Then we met with the whole family at my parents house for dinner. (Made and prepared by the men :))

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MOM! WE ALL LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOU!

Then on Sunday my hubby spoiled me with an amazing (healthy) dinner that was delicious!

Thanks Ty for spoiling me! I love you!

Then we ended with a not so healthy dessert that was pretty sinful it was so good!

It was a perfect Mother's Day!

Spring skiing and Easter

Powder Mountain did an employee ski day where they opened up hidden lake for a free ski day! So my side of the family all headed up there with some of the kids. It was fun for us to get one last ski day in before we trade in our snow ski's for water ski's. :)

Madi and Grandpa skiing together!

Mel, Madi, Tyler, Deanne

We love skiing with family!

Kev and Ty after a long ski day. The kids were tired!

After skiing we headed to the cabin where Grandma was babysitting 6 of the 10 grand kids! Grandma is amazing! Next year... we'll hire 3 babysitters so she can ski with us!

We had an awesome Easter dinner, had an egg hunt, and played in the trees. Perfect!

Grandpa after finishing his meal... he worked hard skiing with the grand kids!

Nate hanging out with his Dad!

Rhett and Trev playing together.

The kids all played outside while we hid the eggs.

Then they lined up at the door ready for the hunt!

It was so fun to ski and play with our family!

CATCH UP POSTS...

There are several new posts, so keep reading...

Nathan 9 months old

Ignoring the soaking wet shirt from drool, and snot coming from his nose... he's the cutest, sweetest baby!

He is getting his 2nd tooth on the bottom. Trying to crawl. Wants to hold hands to be walked everywhere. Rolling to a sitting position. Smiles at everyone and thing. Loves to cuddle! How can you resist that smile?

He loves to play with balls.
A smile to melt your heart!

Sorry to post naked pictures... but I love his rolls!

Daddy's Surprise...

Madi wanted to surprise her daddy with a clean house and a fancy dinner... so we went to work early in the morning. Madi and Kevin mopped and vacuumed the whole floor.

They even had smiles on their faces... how did that happen? I guess I need to make it fun more often.
Madi picked out her own outfit, then asked me to do her make up and hair! Even Kev got all dressed up for dad. They set the table... cooked the food... then waited for Dad to get home! They waited an extra hour past when Ty said he would be home. Their patience was wearing thin.
BUT, he finally arrived and they were ready to serve Dad an amazing dinner. Notice their server towels.

(Notice the tears on Madi's face)

After all the work and wait, Madi was so excited to serve the food to us. Unfortunately I had to reheat everything so it was already on the table. She did the typical girl thing after all the anticipation...

SHE CRIED! AND CRIED!

until... her mascara ran all over her face.

Poor girl. I had to laugh because I could totally relate to her response over a silly little mistake. She cried so hard she couldn't even eat! :)

St. Patty's Day

The Leprechaun's left a nice pot of gold in the kitchen, but made a quick trip to the kids rooms upstairs.

For lunch we went to the Palmers where we had green clover waffles, green eggs, and clover shaped rice krispy treats.
After eating we headed to the school park to look for treats the sneaky Leprechauns might have left.
They all found a bag full...

Nate was just happy to be outside!

Again the kids were disappointed to not catch or see any Leprechauns... better luck next year!
