Madi wanted to surprise her daddy with a clean house and a fancy dinner... so we went to work early in the morning. Madi and Kevin mopped and vacuumed the whole floor.
They even had smiles on their faces... how did that happen? I guess I need to make it fun more often. 
Madi picked out her own outfit, then asked me to do her make up and hair! Even Kev got all dressed up for dad. They set the table... cooked the food... then waited for Dad to get home! They waited an extra hour past when Ty said he would be home. Their patience was wearing thin. 
BUT, he finally arrived and they were ready to serve Dad an amazing dinner. Notice their server towels.

After all the work and wait, Madi was so excited to serve the food to us. Unfortunately I had to reheat everything so it was already on the table. She did the typical girl thing after all the anticipation...
SHE CRIED! AND CRIED!
until... her mascara ran all over her face.
Poor girl. I had to laugh because I could totally relate to her response over a silly little mistake. She cried so hard she couldn't even eat! :)
